Veteran actor Mohan Babu is facing a serious allegation linked to the tragic death of actress Soundarya, nearly 22 years after she lost her life in a plane crash. A complaint filed in Andhra Pradesh’s Khammam district claims that Soundarya’s death was not accidental but a murder linked to a property dispute with Mohan Babu.

According to a report by News18 Kannada, the complainant, identified as Chittimallu, alleged that Soundarya and her brother had refused to sell six acres of land in Jalpalli village, Shamshabad, to Mohan Babu, leading to a major conflict. The complaint claims that after the fatal crash, Mohan Babu forcefully took possession of the land.

Chittimallu has reportedly submitted complaints to both the Khammam ACP and the District Officer, urging the government to seize the land and use it for public welfare, such as orphanages or support for military families, police personnel, and journalists. The complaint also calls for an investigation into Mohan Babu’s role in the alleged land grab.
Adding to the controversy, the complainant cited ongoing disputes within the Manchu family, particularly Mohan Babu’s recent legal troubles involving his younger son, Manchu Manoj. The complaint also demands justice for Manchu Manoj and seeks the seizure of a six-acre guesthouse in Jalpalli.
In a concerning statement, the complainant claimed to be facing threats due to this legal battle and has requested police protection. Meanwhile, no official response has been made by Mohan Babu or his representatives regarding these allegations.
