Nani asks people not to watch SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s 'SSMB29' if they do not like 'HIT 3': "I have nothing left to mortgage..."

SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s most awaited collaboration, ‘SSMB29’, has been generating quite a buzz ever since it was announced. The makers have kept everything under wraps since the production began, and speculations have been doing the rounds on the internet. Now, actor Nani has taken a dig at Rajamouli during the recent promotion of his latest film, ‘HIT 3’.
During the pre-release event for ‘HIT: The Third Case’, Nani had a hilarious take on the release of the Mahesh Babu starrer, which left Rajamouli in fits of laughter. He said, “I mortgaged HIT 3 for the Court movie, and it became a huge hit. Now, I have nothing left to mortgage except SSMB29. If you (the audience) are not satisfied with HIT 3, then there’s no need to watch Rajamouli’s upcoming pan-world movie.” His light-hearted remark had both the audience and Rajamouli laughing.

‘SSMB29’ is set to feature Mahesh Babu in the lead role, with Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Prithviraj Sukumaran among the prominent cast members. The film is expected to be a globe-trotting adventure, in line with the grandiose storytelling style Rajamouli has become famous for, with past hits like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘RRR’ making waves worldwide.
There had been previous speculation about the film being split into two parts, but recent updates suggest that SS Rajamouli has opted to release it as a single, full-length feature. However, the makers have not shared official details about the roles of Priyanka and Prithviraj, but leaked footage of the duo from the sets has ignited the buzz.
Meanwhile, ‘HIT: The Third Case’, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, will be hitting theatres on May 1. The movie features Srinidhi Shetty, Adil Pala, Rao Ramesh, Brahmaji, and Maganti Srinath in key roles.
