As per a report by Filmibeat, several links to the film's pirated copies are circulating on the internet.
'Robinhood' is not alone in facing this challenge. Other recent releases like 'MAD Square' and 'L2: Empuraan', starring Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran, have also been leaked online. This widespread piracy issue continues to plague the film industry, affecting box office collections and the overall revenue of films.
Story of 'Robinhood'
Directed and written by Venky Kudumula, 'Robinhood' features Nithiin in a dual role as Ram and Robinhood, with Sreeleela playing Neera Vasudev. The film boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Vennela Kishore as Jyothi,
Rajendra Prasad as John Snow, and Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, and Mime Gopi in pivotal roles. The film also includes special appearances by David Warner and Ketika Sharma.
According to Sacnilk, 'Robinhood' has shown a decent performance at the box office. On its first day, the film collected Rs 2.3 crore. The following day, it earned Rs 2.05 crore, marking a slight decline of 10.87%. However, the film saw a significant increase on Sunday, collecting Rs 2.85 crore, which was a 39.02% rise from the previous day. The earnings dropped to Rs 1.35 crore on Monday and further decreased to Rs 70 lakhs on Tuesday, based on early estimates. Overall, 'Robinhood' has accumulated a total of Rs 9.25 crore in its initial five days.
After its theatrical release, 'Robinhood' is set to be available on Zee5.
