'Peddi' makers thank fans for overwhelming response to Ram Charan's first glimpse; confirm March 2026 release

Ram Charan-starrer pan-Indian film 'Peddi' makers released its first shot glimpse on April 6, 2025. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, it depicts the 'RRR' star in a raw, rustic avatar, and it has been receiving immense praise. Recently the makers took to social media to thank fans, the cast, and the crew for their support and hard work.
In an elaborated X (formerly Twitter), they acknowledged the responsibility that comes with such a positive response and assured fans that they are committed to delivering a great film that will live up to expectations.

They wrote, "Words fall short to express this overwhelming feeling.
Thank you for the wonderful response all of you have given for our #PeddiFirstShot Glimpse. Receiving this kind of response for our first film is heartening to see and only puts more responsibility on us as we move forward."

The one-minute teaser introduces Ram Charan in a rugged avatar, sporting long hair, a thick beard, and a nose ring.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, 'Peddi' is a village-based sports action drama. The film also stars Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma in key roles. The music is composed by the legendary AR Rahman, while cinematography is handled by R Rathnavelu.
'Peddi' is set to release globally on March 27, 2026.
