Reports: Rashmika Mandanna out of Prabhas-Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Spirit' after 'Sikandar' setback

Rashmika Mandanna has been a part of some of the biggest blockbusters recently like 'Animal', 'Pushpa 2' and 'Chhava'. This led to speculations about her being the top runner to be starring opposite Prabhas for his upcoming film 'Spirit', directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
Initially, rumours suggested that Rashmika might be cast as the female lead, given her recent success. However, as per a Cinejosh report, following the commercial failure of 'Sikandar', which starred Salman Khan, reports emerged that Rashmika was no longer in the running for the role in 'Spirit'.
According to the report, one commercial failure was enough to reconsider her casting. If she had been cast, Rashmika was expected to receive a remuneration of Rs 4 crores.

Despite these reports, there is no official confirmation yet, leaving room for speculation. Rashmika has open dates from June, which could potentially pave the way for her return to the project.
Meanwhile, 'Spirit' is shaping up to be a major project with Prabhas playing a police officer. Rumours also suggest that Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan might also join the cast and are expected to be playing negative roles.

On the work front, she will be next seen in 'Kubera' starring Dhanush and Nagarjuna. She will be working on 'Thama' alongside Ayushmann Khurrana. Rashmika Mandanna's recent outing 'Sikandar' starring Salman Khan in the lead, unfortunately failed to even satisfy Sallu fans.
