Dalip Tahil, celebrated for his diverse roles and notably remembered for portraying the antagonist Madan Chopra in the 1993 blockbuster "Baazigar," recently took centre stage as the host of a seminar titled "How to Take Over a Business - The Madan Chopra Way" at the prestigious IIM Mumbai.
Tahil shared a captivating reel about it on his
Instagram account recently. In the accompanying caption, he humorously remarked, "Business takeover karne ka tareeka thoda hostile hai" (The method of taking over a business is a bit hostile).
The talented actor was invited as a guest speaker at IIM Mumbai, and a screenshot of Tahil's post quickly circulated on various platforms, including being shared by users like Akshay Parale.
In the 1993 film "Baazigar," alongside
Shah Rukh Khan and
Kajol, Dalip Tahil portrayed the villainous character of Madan Chopra. The plot revolves around Chopra taking control of the business owned by Vishwanath Sharma (played by Anant Mahadevan), the father of Ajay Sharma (played by Shah Rukh Khan). The story unfolds as Ajay seeks revenge for his father's death by ultimately eliminating Chopra.
Subsequently, the real "Madan Chopra," portrayed by Dalip Tahil, posted on social media, expressing gratitude for the invitation from IIM Mumbai. He shared, "So the good folks of IIM Mumbai invited @daliptahil aka Madan Chopra to talk on hostile takeovers. Genius."
