Gautam Adani meets Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis in Mumbai

Indian business magnate Gautam Adani met with Maharashtra's newly-appointed chief minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday at his official residence, 'Sagar,' in South Mumbai.
"It was a courtesy visit from Adani. He could not attend the swearing-in ceremony of Fadnavis, hence met him today," a source told news agency PTI.
The 54-year-old BJP leader made a remarkable return to power, taking the oath as the state's chief minister on December 5 at an impressive ceremony held at Azad Maidan in south Mumbai.
The event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, various union ministers, chief ministers from different states, and thousands of Mahayuti alliance supporters.
The ceremony also saw personalities from entertainment and sports, including actors Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit, cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, and business leader Mukesh Ambani.
