'Who would be considered Mafia?': Akhilesh Yadav's swipe at CM Yogi Adityanath

Akhilesh Yadav rebuffed Yogi Adityanath's 'leader of goons' remark by questioning who looks more like a mafia. He accused the BJP government of conducting fake encounters and criticized their 'One Nation, One Election' proposal. Yadav suggested this could undermine the Election Commission and questioned its practicality while highlighting potential cost-saving contradictions.
'Who would be considered Mafia?': Akhilesh Yadav's swipe at CM Yogi Adityanath
NEW DELHI: Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav on Thursday hit back at Yogi Adityanath's government over his 'leader of goons' remarks and asked to take a look at the photos of both the leaders and to tell "who is mafia."
When asked about his comment on 'mafia' remarks, the SP chief said, "Wo kai baar bol chuke hai. Meri bhi tasveer dekhlo aap aur unki bhi dekhlo, maafia kon lagega yeh bata do (They have said it earlier as well.

You can see my picture and his too, tell me who would be considered a mafia)."

Earlier on several occasions, UP chief minister Yogi Adityanath had also called out Yadav as Mafia.
Yadav doubles down his previous remarks on the UP CM where he said that there is no difference between mathdessh and Mafia.
“There is no person who does not know that under the Bharatiya Janata Party government, fake encounters are taking place, murders are being committed. BJP has done so many fake encounters that it has made Uttar Pradesh the capital of fake encounters… There is no difference between Hindu Seers and Mafias,” Yadav said.
Meanwhile, in the conference, Yadav reacted to the 'One nation one election' proposal and said, "...Will women reservation be implemented? Is the government ready? By when will it be implemented? The One Nation, One Election report was 18,626 pages long and it was completed in 191 days...This itself tells what kind of discussion must have been held...This is BJP's report that has been prepared- One Nation, One Election and One Donation."

He claimed that the BJP tomorrow will say what is the need for the Election Commission, after the One Nation, One Election is implemented and that a lot of money is being on the officers.
"But in this (One Nation, One Election) officers and workers will be brought through lateral entry, they will be outsourced...If they really want to save the expenses why does BJP conduct so many rallies?..." he asked.
