Pune-based contemporary artist Arpa Mukhopadhyay is set to unveil her solo exhibition, Timeless Reimaginations, at P.N.G. Art Gallery, Aundh, from March 19 to March 26, 2025. Through this evocative collection, Mukhopadhyay delves into the fluidity of time, heritage, and personal memory, reinterpreting traditional narratives through a modern lens.
Rooted in her ancestral ties to rural Bengal and shaped by her experiences in Mumbai and Pune, Mukhopadhyay’s work bridges the contrasts between past and present, myth and reality, tradition and reinvention. A significant focus of her art lies in women’s lived experiences, blending the lyrical aesthetics of the Bengal School with contemporary themes and experimental techniques.
A Journey Through Time and Art
Mukhopadhyay’s latest collection brings together mixed media pieces, large acrylic works, and delicate watercolors, each echoing the transient nature of time. The exhibition will showcase a mix of her well-known works, reinterpreted creations, and exclusive new paintings crafted especially for this show.

Speaking about the inspiration behind Timeless Reimaginations, Mukhopadhyay reflects:

Sometimes, timelessness and tradition collide.
