Purnima Dates 2023: Purnima is considered to be an auspicious day. It has a great significance in Hindu religion. As per Hindu traditions, people observe fast on full moon day or Purnima day which is famous as Satyanarayan fast. Devotees organise satyanarayan puja through a priest or brahmin on purnima day.
Fasting on full moon day has several positive effects on the body, mind and soul.It keeps a person mentally healthy. People offer prayers to full moon and Lord Vishnu on this sacred day.
