NEW DELHI: PV Sindhu and young gun Lakshya Sen grabbed gold medals as India swept the singles badminton competition at the Commonwealth Games for the first time.
Chirag Shetty and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy added India's third gold from the badminton court with a straight games victory over England's Ben Lane and Sean Mendy.
Table Tennis veteran Sharath Kamal extended his domination at the CWG by winning the gold medal in men's singles event, thrashing England's Liam Pitchford 4-1 in the final.
