Parag cut loose against Moeen Ali in the 13th over. He reached his first fifty of the season with a 74m hit over square leg, completing a 27-ball fifty.

The next ball, Moeen gave him width and a chance to open his arms, and Parag dispatched it over long-off for a 90m hit. Moeen Ali then fired one onto the legs, and Parag went down on one knee and nailed the slog sweep behind square on the leg side.
Moeen Ali then banged one in short, and Parag was seemingly waiting for it; he rocked back and smashed it over deep mid-wicket for his fourth six. Moeen Ali then bowled a wide to try and break the momentum, but it didn't deter Parag, who finished the over with a straight six over long-off.
