As already specified, an Ancient City is a hidden structure in Minecraft, and you can end up finding it in the Deep Dark biome. It is located far below the regular surface and has an eerie ambience. The city features Sculk blocks and the Warden, who is a powerful mob that appears when you trigger too many Sculk sensors or shriekers.
The Ancient Cities offer you a variety of valuable loot, including items like Echo Shards, Disc Fragments, Swift Sneak enchanted books, and so on.
Coming to the main part about finding an Ancient City in Minecraft, you will have to first locate a Deep Dark biome. The particular biome only generates below Y level 0, and it typically lies at Y -51. You can commonly find the Deep Dark biome underneath mountain ranges, so you can opt for going to the same.
Alternatively, if you are playing the game in the Creative Mode, or don’t mind using cheats in Minecraft, you can find the Ancient City by using the /locate command - “/locate structure minecraft:ancient_city”
