Manchester United, Chelsea or Manchester City : Which Premier League club spent the most on agents?

Premier League clubs spent £409.1 million ($54.17 million)on agent fees from February 2024 to February 2025, with one club leading the charge. Chelsea topped the table with a huge outlay, followed by Manchester City and Manchester United. In the Women's Super League, Chelsea again led the spending. Who else made the top five? The Football Association has released new figures showing that Premier League clubs spent a staggering £409.1 million ($515.5 million) on agent fees between 2 February 2024 and 3 February 2025. This marks a slight decrease from last year’s total of £409.5 million ($516.6 million). The report highlights the increasing financial influence of agents, who are responsible for facilitating transfers, negotiating contracts, and other essential services in football.
Chelsea once again led the way in agent spending, shelling out £60.3 million ($76.1 million), despite a reduction from the previous year’s figure of £75 million ($94.5 million). Manchester City followed closely, with £52.1 million ($65.7 million) spent on agent fees, while Manchester United spent £33 million ($41.6 million), securing third place. Other notable spenders in the top five included Aston Villa (£25.1 million / $31.6 million) and Newcastle United (£24.4 million / $30.7 million). The lowest spenders were Ipswich Town, who spent just £6.3 million ($7.9 million), across a period in which they were promoted to the Premier League.
In the Women's Super League, Chelsea again came out on top, spending £622,604 ($784,673), almost triple the £288,628 ($363,116) spent by Manchester City. The total agent fees for the 12 WSL clubs amounted to £2.1 million ($2.65 million).
