Third baseman with the Boston Red Sox, Alex Bregman, has donned several hats, including that of a supportive dad. His wife, Reagan Elizabeth, has been his support throughout his career. However, on Instagram, Reagan opened up about having to face postpartum anxiety. She talks about how she battled it and how difficult it was for her.

Reagan Elizabeth says she’s excited for her baby number 2

Alex Bregman and Reagan Elizabeth are parents to Knox Samuels, while baby number two is still on the way. In March, Reagan shared stunning photographs from her maternity photo shoot, where she looked ethereal.

Elizabeth had conducted an Ask Me Anything on her Instagram where she connected with her fans and friends to catch up over a lot of other things.
A fan asked her, what was she most excited about for baby number two, to which, Reagan replied:
“Everything! I’m even more excited this time knowing what comes next. I can’t wait for all the snugs. I’ll cherish the newborn stage a lot more for sure.”

Further, in Reagan Elizabeth’s Ask Me Anything series, another fan asked her if she ever dealt with PPD (postpartum depression) and if there were any tips she could share.

Reagan Elizabeth explained how she has dealt with similar issues and her advice was to be open and honest about the experience. Reagan responded:

“Yes! I had postpartum anxiety, more than postpartum depression, but my biggest advice is to be open and honest about what you are experiencing with your family, friends, doctor, etc. Don't try to work through it on your own. It's so common & so many women suffer. I was surprised how many people told me they experienced the exact same thing.”
Further, Reagan explained that it is important to ask for what you need. She said:
“I also recommend making sure you ask for what you need. Sometimes we try to "do it all" and the expectations are way too high. Get help and rest when you need it and make sure you make time to do things that are just for you.”
