Max Muncy opened up to MLB.com about his pressures and expectations while having to play under immense pressure, with a team as phenomenal as the Los Angeles Dodgers. Muncy said:

"Playing in L.A. is not easy, but it’s a privilege, and it’s a privilege to play under this pressure, and it’s something I’ve always thrived on, but it doesn’t mean it’s been easy, for me or my family. It’s been a rough month.”
Currently, Max Muncy is the top home run hitter among all the players on the Dodgers team. His teammates believed it was only a matter of time before he hit another home run, but they could tell he was feeling frustrated while waiting for it to happen.
Finally, Muncy was able to hit a powerful home run on Wednesday . When he did, his teammates in the dugout were super excited and happy for him. Muncy said:
"It was huge for me, Almost a little emotional, but this clubhouse is very tight, very close. Everyone cares about each other here. We all just want to win, and for us to win, everyone needs to be clicking, and that’s something this whole clubhouse buys into."

Regarding the team’s immense support and how emotional the moment felt, the Los Angeles Dodgers’ team manager, Dave Roberts said:
“When you feel the support from your teammates, that elation, that joy, it gets emotional. That just speaks to how much it’s been wearing on him, the struggles and the lack of a homer."
Meanwhile, Max Muncy’s teammate, Freddie Freeman has been happy for his friend. He said:

"I know he's been going through it trying to get that first one, get his swing right, He's been working so hard. So for him to see some results after all the hard work, hopefully we get the floodgates open for Max."
