The 2025 MLB season started on a great note for the Los Angeles Dodgers, but the team roster has been plagued with injured players and frequent changes. Recently, Dodgers’ pitching star Tyler Glasnow made headlines after he went on to take a backseat due to sudden shoulder discomfort during a recent game with the Texas Rangers. Reportedly, he could pitch after the first inning and left in the middle of the game against the Rangers. Glasnow reacted to the shoulder injury update and even expressed his frustration, disappointment, and helplessness during an interview.

During a postgame interview with the Dodger Blue, Tyler Glasnow opened up about his shoulder discomfort, which led to his untimely exit from the team roster during the ongoing MLB season. He said-
“Right now, yeah, just frustrated, I guess. It's just an extension trying to throw something grabbed. I think just making a lot of changes, trying to figure out a way to stay healthy, I think some of the changes have led to other things kind of taking over, and I'm just at this point I'm just trying to figure out what to do, and it's just extremely frustrating.”
On being asked about whether he has undergone an MRI for the shoulder discomfort, Glasnow said-
“I think we're just going to try and figure it out. Give it a couple of days and see what it is, but I haven't really talked to him about a plan.”

Tyler Glasnow even addressed the media about the recurring nature of his injuries. He mentioned that he is trying to stay healthy in every possible way. The Dodgers' pitching star revealed
"I just—it's been all I'm just, like, obsessed with trying to figure out what's going on. It's been like this for a few years, and like I've been trying to find a way to stay healthy. I'll try to. I'll do whatever. I just don't really have an answer right now."
He further explained-
“I think that's the most frustrating thing It's not like a lack of trying It's just kind of exhausting at this point. I know it's probably exhausting for a lot of people, especially for me. Like, I feel bad for my teammates. I feel bad for people watching. It's just, like, it's a whole very frustrating situation for me, and, like, it's hard.”
From Mookie Betts' illness during their opening day game in Tokyo to the starters Clayton Kershaw and Tony Gonsolin being out of the roster due to their rehab, the Los Angeles Dodgers are undoubtedly plagued with one injured athlete after another during the 2025 MLB season.
