Irish fighter Conor McGregor remains one of the greatest fighters, featuring impressive growth in his career. With an MMA record of 22-6-0, the fighter made a name for himself that most fighters couldn’t make even with a higher record. His career trajectory is filled with shocking wins and unpredictable knockouts that have kept the fans on edge regarding his comeback within the UFC. Recently, the fighter wrote on X about one of his most memorable knockouts, which was executed within 3 seconds and remains the fastest knockout of his career. The post ignited a hype that resulted in the fans drawing an analogy of how McGregor would now knock out the “corrupt government” in Ireland.
Before UFC, Conor McGregor was part of regional promotions in Ireland, a tenure during which the fighter faced defeat only twice and was on an 8-match winning streak before signing with the UFC. His UFC debut was a knockout win against Marcus Brimage. Early in his career, McGregor defeated fighters like Max Holloway, Dustin Poirier, Jose Aldo and others. The fighter, instead, is more invested in his newfound political ambitions. Fans relate the iconic MMA knockout, metaphorically, to the presumed graph of his political career.
