Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been married for more than a decade and have been together in the lowest of lows. But before Gabrielle Union met Dwyane Wade, she was married to NFL star, Chris Howard, but that marriage did not last too long. In 2023, the Hollywood actress opened up about infidelity in her first marriage which shocked her fans.

In early 2023, Dwyane Wade's wife, the popular Hollywood actress, Gabrielle Union appeared on the Armchair Expert podcast and revealed how her first marriage had ended.
Gabrielle Union spoke about how she had cheated during her first marriage. The famous actress said, “In my first marriage, neither one of us felt like the marriage should get in the way of our dating. A part of it was like keeping up with his activities, like, ‘Oh, that’s what you’re doing? You’re going to feel this one.’ And I just felt entitled to it as well.”
Gabrielle Union added. “I was paying all the bills. I was working my ass off and I felt like that’s what comes, the spoils of riches.”
Dwyane Wade’s wife also added that she felt no “guilt” about cheating during her first marriage. She said, “I wish I had more guilt for some of that. It was such a stupid relationship that should have never got out of the dating phase.”
In 2006, after five years of marriage, Gabrielle Union and Chris Howard filed for divorce from each other and went their separate ways.
Later, Gabrielle Union ended up meeting her now husband, the NBA legend, Dwyane Wade. However, their relationship was not a smooth ride.
Back in 2013, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade broke up for a short period but the NBA legend ended up fathering a child with a long time friend.
But Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade made it through and got engaged in December 2013, a month after his son was born.
The two continue to be in a pretty happy marriage and are busy raising their daughter.
