Luka Doncic delivered a jaw-dropping performance in the first half of the Los Angeles Lakers' matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks on Thursday, surpassing Anthony Davis' season-high points in a half. Despite the Lakers falling 126-106, Doncic's individual brilliance was the highlight of the night.
By halftime, Luka Doncic had already racked up 29 points, seven rebounds, two assists, two steals, and a block. His shooting was equally impressive, going 9-of-15 from the field and 5-of-9 from three-point range. A dominant stretch in the second quarter saw him score 10 consecutive points, eclipsing Anthony Davis' previous Los Angeles Lakers record of 26 points in a half earlier this season.
Luka Doncic's stellar play wasn't enough to overcome the Milwaukee Bucks' offensive firepower. Milwaukee outscored the Lakers 31-19 in the third quarter, extending their lead to double digits and sealing the game. Doncic finished with a game-high 45 points, 11 rebounds, three assists, two steals, and a block, shooting 14-of-27 from the field and 7-of-13 from beyond the arc.
