"I was not so positive": Michael Strahan's daughter Isabella Strahan opens up about "researching bad stuff" after her cancer diagnosis

Michael Strahan’s daughter, Isabella Strahan, overcame a difficult battle with brain cancer and shared her journey on the Beyond the Battlefront podcast. She spoke about her initial fears and the importance of maintaining a positive mindset. Isabella credited her sister, Sophia, for suggesting a blood test and mentioned her struggle with losing weight during treatment.

Micheal Strahan, the NFL legend and one of the hosts for Good Morning America, has been in the news for the past year and a half after his daughter, Isabella Strahan, was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, Isabella Strahan has fought hard against the disease and eventually managed to beat it successfully. Today Michael Strahan’s daughter, Isabella Strahan is cancer free and she recently appeared on the Beyond the Battlefront podcast and opened up about the battle she fought.

Michael Strahan’s Daughter, Isabella Strahan, Reveals That She Did Not Have A Positive Mindset Initially And Then Had To Learn That People Are Different



A few days ago, Micheal Strahan's daughter appeared on the Beyond the Battlefront podcast and revealed how having a positive mindset helped her with her battle against cancer.
Michael Strahan’s 20 year old daughter, Isabella Strahan, was barely an adult when she received her cancer diagnosis. Isabella Strahan also opened up about how during the initial few days, she only thought about the worst outcomes.
Isabella Strahan said, “At the beginning of my journey, I was not so positive. I only kind of thought about the worst things that could happen. And I think that’s pretty detrimental.”
She added, “Always have a positive mindset and not shut yourself off like, ‘This is the end. Life is never gonna get better.’ I definitely was that person and now I’m trying to see how I can not be that person”.
Isabella Strahan also spoke about losing a lot of weight when she had to undergo her treatments for cancer but she regrets not making herself walk. She also revealed that she "lost a lot of" leg muscle because of this and she wished she had taken at least 100 steps a day during her treatments.
'Life Interrupted' Part 2: Isabella Strahan's cancer journey

Last month, ABC released a documentary called Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan's Fight to Beat Cancer. This documentary was based on Isabella Strahan’s journey and even included how her family reacted to the whole thing.
Michael Strahan, the NFL legend, appeared emotional as he spoke about how he dealt with the news of his then 18 year old daughter, Isabella Strahan, being diagnosed with cancer.
Isabella Strahan also credited her sister, Sophia Strahan, for being the first person who asked her to get a blood test done when she was not initially feeling well.

Isabella Strahan Had To Leave Her College Just 50 Days After Joining It Due To Her Cancer Diagnosis


At the time of the cancer diagnosis, Isabella Strahan had just started going to the University of Southern California and had been at college only for fifty days.
However, things eventually did work out for the Strahan family and by August 2024, Isabella Strahan was completely cured and fit to go back to college.
