Adam Sandler returns in 'Happy Gilmore 2': Release date, storyline, cast, and where to watch

Adam Sandler is heading back to the golf course in Happy Gilmore 2. Recently it was announced that the comedy sequel will start streaming on July 25, 2025. Fans of the original movie have been waiting a long time for Sandler to bring back the popular character, and now it’s finally happening.
Netflix confirmed that Happy Gilmore 2 will be released exclusively on their platform. This means fans around the world will be able to watch it from home on the same day. The movie is directed by Kyle Newacheck, who has worked with Sandler before on Murder Mystery. Sandler’s real-life daughters, Sadie and Sunny Sandler, will also appear in the film.
