It was a first of its kind event for Kolkata. A bike racing and stunt show organized by an international bike manufacturer at the Salt Lake stadium, that saw engines roaring and adrenaline pumping.

But apart from these three another biker stood out, a woman in her late 20's with her shankha-pala, a stark contrast to the macho men around.
Anuradha Roy is a professional biker for whom bikes have been a passion since class VII. "This is my third bike," she said, proudly pointing out to her machine.
"This was a gift from my husband. My wedding gift." Noticing our expression, she added with a smug smile, "Goyna-gati to astei thakbe. Kintu bike ta ke aami bhalobashi."
Well, TOI thinks, Anuradha is an example of women's empowerment. And kudos to her husband too. Men, here's your cue. Later in the evening, Tony from Jaipur left everyone speechless with his bike stunts and acrobatics.
Apart from the basic wheelies, stoppies and burnouts, the stuntman showcased daring donuts, endos, rolling burnouts and christs.

The huge crowd was nearly spilling over to get a good look at the action going on the track. Climbing trees and fences, the crowd couldn't stop cheering when the 23-year-old performed a high chair.
"I have been doing this for the last 10 years. I discovered wheelie by accident jab ekbar bike chalate waqt galti se mere haath se clutch choot gaya," he revealed.
This youngster has been to national television shows like MTV Stunt Mania and India's Got Talent. An adrenaline junkie, Tony thinks of internationally renowned stuntmaster AC Farias as his mentor and has sworn to try and make motorcycle stunting as popular as cricket is.
