Ric Flair gave his pick for the winner of the John Cena vs Cody Rhodes match
During a recent appearance on the Busted Open Radio, Ric Flair was asked about his choice between John Cena and Cody Rhodes to walk out of WrestleMania 41 as the winner. The Nature Boy picked The American Nightmare,, saying,
“Because he’s on a roll.”Furthermore, Flair added that John Cena might not even be interested in winning a World Championship during the last leg of his career. He said,
"When asked who he thinks will walk out with the gold, Flair didn’t hesitate. “Because he’s on a roll,” he said about Rhodes. The WWE Hall of Famer made it clear that Cena might not even be interested in winning the title at this stage in his career. “To be honest with you, I don’t think John wants to retire with the title. John is a company guy. He wants what’s best for business."John Cena laid out his plans to ruin wrestling for everyone. Moreover, he also aimed to erase Ric Flair's legacy and cement his own as the record-breaking 17-time WWE Champion. This even led to some heated words from Flair himself, and his picking Cody Rhodes over Cena justifies his decision.
Cody Rhodes has been the Undisputed WWE Champion for over a year now. He has battled countless top stars and emerged victorious. However, Rhodes faces his toughest challenge at WrestleMania 41 against John Cena, who shocked the world by turning heel at the 2025 Elimination Chamber PLE. With WrestleMania only a few days away, it will be interesting to see who walks out of the Allegiant Stadium victorious.
