Elon Musk's '$35 million plan' for family: 3 mansions, 3 mothers, 11 children
Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has reportedly purchased a 14,400-square-foot mansion and another six-bedroom property adjacent to it worth $35 million dollars in Austin, Texas. The New York Times report says that Musk, when in Austin, often stays at a third mansion about a 10-minute walk away from the mansion.
Source close to the tech billionaire told the publication that he intends for his children (of which there are at least 11) and two of their three mothers to reside in these neighbouring properties. This arrangement, the source said, will “let his younger children be a part of one another’s lives, and Mr. Musk could schedule time among them.”
Elon Musk has fathered 12 children. His first child with his ex-wife, Justine Musk, died of sudden infant death syndrome at just 10 weeks old. The couple had five children using IVF - twins Griffin and Vivian, followed by triplets Saxon, Damian, and Kai. Claire Boucher, the musician better known as Grimes, is the mother to three of his children – “X” – Extra Dark Siderael - known as “Y” - and Techno Mechanicus, who goes by “Tau”.
Speaking at a recent Donald Trump campaign rally, Musk highlighted that interest payments now consume 23% of all federal tax revenue, as the national debt has ballooned to $35.7 trillion. Bank of America analysts project the debt could reach $36 trillion by year's end, with increases of approximately $1 trillion every 100 days.

Musk welcomed his twelfth child with Shivon Zilis, director at Neuralink, earlier this year in June. As per the report, Zilis has moved into one of the homes with her children.
