Abhishek Upmanyu

Abhishek Upmanyu always knew he had a knack for comedy even when he was doing his graduation in Chemical Engineering from Chandigarh. After working in various corporate roles, he decided to switch careers, and pursue comedy. In 2015, he joined 'On Air with AIB' as a writer. In 2016, he launched his YouTube channel and gained prominence with his viral video Indian Insults & Comebacks, and stand-up specials such as 'Thoda Saaf Bol' and 'Jealous of Sabjiwala'. He was named Comedian of the Year at the Indian Comedy Awards in 2018 and featured in Forbes India’s 30 Under 30. In 2024, he won Best Online Comedy Special at the DeadAnt Comedy Awards for Employee No. 1.
