Every year on April 14, Ambedkar Jayanti is celebrated to commemorate the memory of <strong><a href="http://jeetwin-gaming.com/topic/Dr.-Babasaheb-Ambedkar" data-type="tilCustomLink" target="_blank">Dr B. R. Ambedkar</a></strong>. This day marks Ambedkar's birthday in 1891 and from 2015 this day has been declared as an official public holiday all over India.<br/><br/>As a part of this day’s celebration, processions are carried out by his followers in <strong><a href="http://jeetwin-gaming.com/city/mumbai" data-type="tilCustomLink" target="_blank">Mumbai </a> </strong>and Nagpur. Also, several national leaders, such as the President and Prime Minister pay homage at the statue of Ambedkar at the Parliament of India in New Delhi.
