In the recent episode of Chala Hawa Yeu Dya, the star cast of '

The Kashmir Files

' appeared on the show as special guests. The star cast including Pallavi Joshi,

Darshan Kumar

, Mrinal Kulkarni and Chinmay Mandlekar enjoyed some rib-tickling skits of the comedians. Actress Pallavi Joshi, who is playing a pivotal role in the film, made some interesting revelations about her role.

Actress Pallavi Joshi is playing the role of

Radhika Menon

, a university professor who encourages her students to fight for 'Azad Kashmir' in the film. When quizzed about her experience of working in the film, Pallavi said, "This film is based on 1990's Kashmiri Pandits' exodus during the Kashmir Insurgency. I have met various

Kashmiri Pandits

and we have shown what has happened in reality. How people got killed in front of their families, how people faced the situation, how a woman has been harassed, we have shown everything in the film. We have a strong star cast. Actors like Darshan,

Anumpan Kher

sir, Mrinal and everyone have given their best. My role of Radhika tries to inspire everyone to fight for 'Azad Kashmir' and Chinmay Mandlekar is playing Bitta who will confess on camera that he killed 20 Kashmiri Pandits in 1990. I often say that I feel like the Gates of Hell have opened for us because my role is so lethal."

Kangana took a dig at the Bollywood celebs for the 'pin drop silence'. She took to her Instagram story and penned a long note. Her post read, "Please notice the pin drop silence in the Film industry about #thekashmirfiles. Not just content even its business is exemplary... investment and profit proportion might be such a case study that it will be the most successful and profitable film of the year... It also broke many myths about theatres being exclusive for big budgets, event films or visual/VFX spectacles post pandemic. It is breaking every myth and preconceived notion that was there and bringing back the audience to the theatres. 6am shows in multiplexes are full, it's unbelievable!!! Bullydawood aur unke chamche sadme mein chale gaye hai... Not a word, sari duniya dekh rahi hai inko lekin phir bhi not a word... Their time is up!!"
