Sachin Goswami said, "People trolled Onkar for no reason. He is so passionate about acting. He is a dedicated actor. He is the one who thinks about the show first and then about his payment. I would like to share one incident with everyone: we had a payment increasing the lockdown for actors in Hasya Jatra. When we went to give it to Onkar, he denied receiving it. He told us that he does not want it because he saw the financial crisis for others in the lockdown, and he questioned us saying, 'Sir, if you will give me, how much will you take?'"
Sachin Mote further added that "he had films in his hands. He is not the person who will do multiple things just for the sake of money. He does everything with passion. Controversies happened when he joined Fu Bai Fu, but it was only for a few episodes, and it was only for his friends."
