I am positive, we will definitely get justice: Actor Bobby Darling over SC hearing on same-sex marriages

Speaking on the Supreme Court hearing on a batch of petitions seeking legal validation of same-sex marriages in the country, Bollywood actor Bobby Darling on April 18 said that after hearing arguments at the Supreme Court, she is positive of getting justice. She said, “After hearing all the arguments, I am positive about it and we will definitely get justice.” Adding to this, Lawyer Meera Karua said, “After the petition got filed, this can be said to be an LGBTQ moment. This came after National Legal Service Authority case gave recognition to the third gender. And this was followed by decriminalisation of 377 over consenting relationships.” “Looking at the evolution in Indian Judiciary, it is a natural progression and we have high hopes from the bench of judges although we do not want to put any media pressure on them,” she added.
