Sonam Kapoor reports a case of ill treatment on stray dog by society watchmen

Social media equips users with immense power, a power to affect social change in the lives of people with whom you have no direct connection. This power is especially greater for our celebrities who have millions of people following them. Actress Sonam Kapoor recently used this influence to spread a social message. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared the heartbreaking plight of a stray dog, who was mercilessly beaten up and tortured by a society's watchmen on the orders of a tenant for seeking shelter during the rain. Sonam's post gives a vivid narration of the whole incident, which was captured on phone by some good samaritans who reached out to the poor pub. Meanwhile, an FIR has been registered in the Worli Police Station by Bombay Animal Rights and further details are currently awaited. As for the dog, he is now in a comatose state.
