Congress ready to fight BJP, Election Commission over Assam Delimitation: Rakibul Hussain

Congress leader Rakibul Hussain said that the party will fight BJP and Election Commission over Assam Delimitation. Rakibul Hussain further said that BJP will be defeated in 2025 elections because of the delimitation and Congress will come back to power in the state. He reminded how Congress lost the state after 1976 delimitation in Assam. On Friday, the Election Commission of India published the final order relating to the delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies for State of Assam and kept the total numbers of Assembly and Parliamentary constituencies at 126 and 14 respectively in the final order.
