Pak Army Faces Crisis At LoC Amid Clash With India; ‘Troops, Artillery Rushed From...’

Pakistan is rapidly deploying reinforcements along the Line of Control (LoC) amid intensifying tensions with India in the aftermath of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack. Central to this military buildup are Chinese-origin SH-15 howitzers, which Pakistan began inducting three years ago. The Pakistan Army has been shifting troops and heavy artillery from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to forward positions near the LoC. Intelligence reports have also identified active terror launch pads at Leepa and Jura near the LoC in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which is home to over 40 known terror staging areas. Strategic experts believe the current Pakistani deployment signals deep concern over a potential large-scale Indian strike.
