Watch: Sonia Gandhi reaches Lok Sabha as Rahul Gandhi gets back Parliament membership

Congress Parliamentary party chairperson and Lok Sabha MP Sonia Gandhi arriving at Parliament. Lok Sabha today restored the membership of Rahul Gandhi after the Supreme Court on August 4 stayed his conviction in the ‘Modi’ surname remark case. The Congress leader, who was disqualified from the lower house, in March 2023 has been reinstated as the Wayanad MP. Meanwhile, both Houses of Parliament have been adjourned amid ruckus by opposition leaders. The Delhi services bill is set to be taken up in Rajya Sabha today. The Congress and AAP have issued whips to their MPs asking them to be present in the Upper House till its adjournment.
