'The Last of Us' season 2 episode 3: When and where to watch, what to expect after the jarring death of Joel Miller

‘The Last of Us’ season 2 episode 3 is finally here - whether it’s to give the fans the time to recover, or to deepen the wound after the jarring death of Joel Miller (Pedro Pascal), only time shall tell.

Considering the new episode releases every Sunday in the United States at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT, the third episode was released on Monday, April 28, in India at 6:30 p.m. In Canada, the episode was released on Crave at 9 p.m.; in Brazil, at 10 p.m. on Sunday, April 27; and in the UK, the third episode was released at 2 a.m.
The third episode shall show the lives of Ellie and the community of Jackson without Joel. The trailer shows Ellie screaming her heart out while she is mourning the loss and visiting the grave. Tommy is likely to appear for her brother. Well, the urgency of the trailer foretells that perhaps Ellie might not get much time to swallow the hard pill.
After the loss of Joel in the second episode, even the actor playing him, Pedro Pascal, was heartwrenched. “I have nothing but respect for the level of investment that people have in a video game or a television show or a movie or a book," Pascal said.
"I've flung books across the room because its impact is so profound on me in experiencing a story. If it is incredibly painful for people, that's obviously a brilliant achievement of the storytelling,” according to USA Today.
