Kim Sae Ron’s family hold second press conference
The late Kim Sae Ron’s family held another press conference on May 7 at 2 pm in order to address the situation further and provide updates to the public as well.
The conference was held by the family members alongside their legal representative, Bu Ji Seok. The event was also attended by HoverLab’s owner Kim Se Eui, who has been heavily involved in the case and has also been previously sued by Soo Hyun and his agency on grounds of stalking, as per reports from Soompi.
During the press conference, Ji Seok revealed that the late actress had been in conversation with a ‘whistleblower’ in New Jersey, only a month before she passed away. The actress had allegedly spoken about Kim Soo Hyun for around 1.5 hours, which was all recorded with her consent.
Whistleblower was attacked
The lawyer shared that this whistleblower that Sae Ron was in conversation with was attacked last month by two men, one of Chinese descent and the other of Korean descent. He also shared that the case was officially being investigated in the States by the FBI. He shared that “The family earnestly pleaded that we reveal a part of the recording, as this incident could get more severe if we wait more.”
A recording of Kim Sae Ron revealed
The alleged recording of the late actress was played during the press conference. The actress can be heard talking about her relationship with the actor, sharing that “I dated Soo Hyun oppa. You might say I’m crazy and not believe me, but I dated him since I was in middle school, and we broke up after I went to college. Soo Hyun oppa and those GOLDMEDALIST people are really scary and will do anything.”
The actress then also revealed that the actor had sent her photographs of him engaging with another woman. She stated that “I feel like I was used since middle school. Honestly, I was his girlfriend, and he knows how I was to him since middle school, but after the accident, they all made me out to be a weird person. What’s really crazy is that he sent me a photo taken while he was doing ‘it’ with someone else.”
Sae Ron also shared that due to circumstances she was not able to reveal the incident. She shared that “He said the idol he slept with smells like miyeok (seaweed), so he had her name saved as ‘miyeok’ in his phone and sent me that. If I were in better circumstances, I would’ve revealed everything already.”
Sae Ron then continued and shared in the recording that “The first time I did it with him was during winter break in my second year of middle school. Thinking about it now, it was done to me. Not many people know about when I dated him in middle school, but they all reacted the same way. They asked why I just let him be.”
The family has filed a criminal case against Kim Soo Hyun
The family of late actress Kim Sae Ron shared through their legal representatives that they have filed a criminal case against Soo Hyun under the Child Welfare Act as well as for false accusation.
The lawyer also issued a statement in the matter where he revealed that along with the whistleblower’s safety, the family members of Kim Sae Ron were also being allegedly targeted. He shared that “In addition to threats to the whistleblower’s safety, there have recently been sightings of suspicious vehicles suspected of stalking near the home of the late Kim Sae Ron’s aunt. We earnestly request police protection for the bereaved family and for CEO Kim Se Eui.”

The sequel set in the late 1980’s, Raid 2 fangirls its own prequel by following a template so meticulously that it forgets to have some fun along the way. A fleet of ambassador cars aggressively heading for a raid is a visual that stays constant. At 2 hours, 20 minutes, the film feels heavy too. The first half is unhurried, it’s the second half that gets the wit, energy and thrill in place. Songs interrupt the story.
