South Korean actors sashayed down the red carpet at the 44th Blue Dragon Film Awards on Friday night, dishing out stunning looks and greeting fans. The star studded ceremony took place at the KBS Hall in Yeouido and featured Kim Hye Soo and Yoo Yeon Seok as the hosts.
‘Smugglers’ won big, taking home four awards, namely Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Jo In Sung), Best New Actress (Go Min Si), and Best Music.
‘The Night Owl’ pocketed three awards, Ahn Tae Jin won for Best New Director and the movie won in the Best Editing, Best Cinematography and Lighting categories too. Lee Byung Hun won Best Actor honor for ‘Concrete Utopia’, while Um Tae Hwa took home the Best Director trophy for the movie. Jung Yu Mi won Best Actress trophy for ‘Sleep’ and Jeon Yeo Been took home the Best Supporting Actress trophy for ‘Cobweb’. The Chung Jung Won Popular Star Award was given to Song Joong Kim Jo In Sung, Kim Seon Ho, Park Bo Young.
