Donald Trump calls out ABC News as 'one of the worst' for not reporting on Biden's health crisis

Donald Trump criticized ABC News for allegedly downplaying concerns about Joe Biden's health, particularly instances of Biden struggling with stairs and balance. Trump asserted that the U.S. was once "laughed at" due to Biden's perceived physical and mental decline, accusing ABC of biased reporting.

US President Donald Trump
United States President Donald Trump on Tuesday called out ABC News on its exclusive interview for not reporting on former President Joe Biden's health crisis and said, "You are fake news."
During an exclusive interview with ABC's Terry Moran, Trump recalled the time when Biden was the President and he couldn't walk down a flight of stairs without falling. Trump also said that "ABC is one of the worst."

While responding to a question raised by Moran's "do you think the reputation of the US has gone down under your presidency," Trump said, "No, I think it's gone way up, and I think we're a respected country again. We were laughed at all over the world. We had -- a president that couldn't walk up a flight of stairs, couldn't walk down a flight of stairs, couldn't walk across a stage without falling. We had a president that was grossly incompetent. You knew it, I knew it, and everybody knew it. But you guys didn't want to write it because you're fake news."
"And, by the way, ABC is one of the worst. I have to be honest with you," he added.
Biden's age and physical fitness have been subjects of discussions while he was campaigning for his second term in 2024. He, earlier in June 2024, took a face-first tumble and fell on stage during the graduation ceremony at the US Air Force Academy in Colorado.
Prior incidents include stumbling while ascending the stairs of Air Force One and getting entangled in his bike pedals while stopping to speak to reporters near his home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
But this just doesn't happen with Biden, but also with Trump in 2020, where his cautious descent down a ramp after the West Point commencement speech.
"The ramp that I descended after my West Point Commencement speech was very long & steep, had no handrail and, most importantly, was very slippery," Trump wrote on Twitter after the video of his slow and cautious walk went viral.
