KALYAN: The
Kalyan Loksabha MP Dr Shrikant Shinde said that the Knowledge Centre on Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar built at a grand magnificent statue of Babasaheb Ambedkar is ready and very soon it will be opened for the public.
The grand statue of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar built at D ward office in Kalyan (East) was inaugurated last year by the then chief minister and current deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde.
Shinde said, "The work on the Knowledge Center has now been completed. I visited and inspected this center. In the coming period, this Knowledge Center will be open to the public, allowing everyone to experience it".
He further said, "This center, which beautifully showcases the entire life journey of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, will definitely serve as a source of inspiration for all".
The center includes a rare photo exhibition of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, 3D artwork on the memorial walls, a library, a hologram and light show depicting Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s life journey, as well as a grand auditorium in the memorial premises for cultural programs.
KDMC commissioner Dr Indurani Jakhar said, "This memorial will serve as a source of inspiration not only for students but for everyone, and will be an important link in carrying forward the legacy of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, to future generations".
