Kanye West once again drew attention to his bitter custody dispute with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, by taking to social media with a string of emotionally charged tweets.
The rapper, who has been slamming his ex-wife for not allowing him to raise his four children - North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, took to his handle on Thursday to share his thoughts and feelings. He managed to raise eyebrows once again by by praising Kim, and crediting her with “saving” their daughter North’s life.
Amidst posts criticising the legal system, the entertainment industry, and his current custody situation, the rapper and designer made a rare, heartfelt acknowledgement of his ex-wife's past decision during her pregnancy with their first child. “I wasn’t ready to have a child and she made sure North made it to this earth,” Kanye wrote. “And I will always give her credit for this.”

The post came amid a fresh wave of Kanye’s public outcry, as he claimed to be speaking to “four lawyers a day” in a desperate attempt to secure what he believes are his rights to see and raise his children. In one tweet, he pleaded for support from fellow artist, writing, “Ferg... Love you... Please say something about what I’m going through with the Kardashians and my black children.”

He also made it clear that his social media presence should not be conflated with his parenting concerns, “What I tweet and the rights to me raising my kids are two different subjects. I am an entertainer. My Twitter is entertaining and for entertainment purposes Mostly.”
The latest tweets follow days of emotionally charged statements from West, who accused Kardashian of limiting his access to their children.
“Why are you all watching and letting Kim take my kids from me in real time,” he wrote. “I’m shaking typing this.” He added, “Y’all wanna say I’m acting out cause of things in my childhood… But I don’t get to be a dad.”

In a particularly personal note, he revealed, “I haven't seen Saint This Year.”
While representatives for Kardashian have yet to respond publicly to West’s latest statements, the reality star has made no secret about her plans to stay focused on her kids and maintain a stable environment for the 4 amidst their custody battles.
