The list of accusations and lawsuits against the disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs doesn't seem to be ending. Over the months, despite Diddy maintaining his claim of ‘not guilty,’ he has been facing several sexual abuse allegations and a federal indictment. Recently, pop star Dawn Richard, who was a member of the girl group Danity Kane has accused Diddy of harming her on economic, physical, and emotional levels when she was working with him.
The Radar Online reports that after the hotel surveillance footage featuring Combs allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura went viral earlier this year, Richard decided to come forward. Her attorney, Lisa Bloom shared that that the accomplished musician, who has always been more focused on her career, felt compelled to take action to support Ventura and others who have suffered at the hands of Diddy.
Dawn Richard’s allegations on Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs
Reportedly, in her lawsuit, Richard has accused Diddy of physical assault and intense psychological distress. According to her, when she was working with Combs, he asked her for sexual advances as well.
Reportedly she narrated an incident where Sean allegedly groped her in her dressing room. She added that in October 2010, Combs allegedly demanded she strip down. He also asked for inappropriate sexual advances during a trip to Glasgow, as per Richard’s claims.
Not just this, she has claimed that Combs has verbally abused her, and called her names. He allegedly didn’t hesitate to shame her in front of producers, bodyguards, and his friends.
Last but not least, she claimed he manipulated him; she was promised a music career, which wasn’t delivered. She was made to work in hectic schedules and deprived of proper sleep and meals, and she wasn’t compensated for any of her efforts.
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs continues to deny the allegations
According to the reports, Diddy's legal team has said that Richard has fabricated her claims to gain attention. Her timing, which coincides with the release of her album, suggests that it is a calculative move, as she wants to benefit from Sean’s ongoing legal disputes.
