Akashaditya Lama fighting against the judgment of Hrithik Roshan's Mohenjo Daro
Ashutosh Gowariker's 'Mohenjo Daro' starring Hrithik Roshan and Pooja Hegde releases on August 12, 2016. The film has already managed to pique the curiosity of the audience and here's why we are looking forward to the film... A pre- Let's admit it...apart from history textbooks, we haven't heard much about Mohenjo Daro. Ruins of the ancient city, that were excavated, showed that Mohenjo Daro was a very well-planned civilisation. The word, 'Mohenjo Daro' literally means the mountain of the dead and it would be interesting to find out if this aspect is explored in the film. Ashutosh Gowariker's film is set in that ancient city and if that is not reason enough to watch the film, we don't know what is! Expect larger-than-life sets, elaborate costumes and some mindblowing effects. A dose of history with a dash of entertainment and we are sure that Mohenjo Daro will emerge as a winner.
Writer Akashaditya Lama hosted a press conference in Mumbai against the Mohenjodharo judgement which came on 2nd August by Honorable High Court Mumbai. Mohenjodaro play team including Actor Mitali Nag, producer Rana Bhatia actress Bijaya Jena & actor Ashok Bhantia came forward to support Lama in this fight, all of them shared their experiences and facts related to the play.

Lama said " I will continue this fight till the end and I will go to Supreme Court to challenge this judgment. Honorable judge has also imposed a fine (cost) of one lakh fifty thousand on me. I have sold my last own property on 27th June a day before filing this case in high court . Now I and my theater group people felt that we should go to public directly ask their help because its no more my own struggle ...Now its the fight of every common man who go to higher authorities for justice and in return they are punished / penalized. I appeal to every person if you feel we are right kindly support us , tell others what happened to us and make them aware of the situation. And ask them to donate us online or in person. Even your one rupees can make the change and it will shatter the confidence of real culprits.

This is English translation of hand written script given to Ashutosh Gowarikar in 2003 MOHENJODARO
'DEDICATED TO THOSE HUNDREDS AND THOUSANDS OF HUMANS & RACES WHO ACCEPTED INDIA AS THEIR MOTHER LAND AND MADE IT GREAT'
Mohenjodaro means a heap of dead in Sindhi language but it is a modern name. Some learned believe that Mohenjodaro is basically the city of Pushpawati from the medieval times of non-Aryan's as mentioned in Vedas. It is believed that in the beginning Aryan's came from Middle Asia in small troupes in various parts of the world at different time period.

But according to Vedas, Tilak calculated that Aryan's actually came from North Pole. Whereas some Right Wing people claim that Aryan's basically were from India and from India they have spread in the various part of the whole world.
According to some historian the time when Aryan's arrived , the main communities in India were Dravid, Kiraat (Mongolians) etc also came to India due to various reason's because according to scientist birth of human life started from Africa and from there they scattered in the rest of the world.
In recent years one more opinion about Aryan's has come into light that Aryans are no community but actually children born by European male and Asian female, Scientist give Y chromosome theory logic behind this.
Besides in the whole world only in Ladakh (India), there is this Dorpa named community who are considered as clans of Aryan's. Their DNA test, language and nature worship ways give proof of their claim.
But in my story I have used only references of historical evidences, it has nothing to do with the Aryan & non Aryan clash. The motive of my story is to show the reason of disintegration in the whole world because of which different cast and religion and their way of living creates clashes within them. If after reading my creation anyone's thinking changes even a bit I would consider myself successful.
Our Story begins with THE GREAT BATH of Mohenjodaro, it is the auspicious Makar Sankrant's day and the Great Bath is filled with Sapta Sindhu's water'foremost mother nature (maa shakti) will be worshipped after which there will be Crop festival (fasal utsav) and with the end of the festival market of Mohenjodaro will be open for all, people will come from far away countries to sell their things.
Everyone is waiting for Mohenjodaro head's permission. Then Mohenjodaro's head Varun enters with his wife Mahamaaya near the man made river, gives offering to Son god and worships Mother Nature. He says Jai Shakti, Jai Sindhu and crop festival begins.
This time to attend Mohenjodaro's crop festival head's of Hadappa, Kalibanga, Lothal have come also Sumerian & Persian's heads have arrived to attend the annual festival.
Everyone in the city is happily celebrating the festival, dance is going on, and everywhere Mohenjodaro's head Varun is being praised. Varun, his wife Mahamaaya and their ten year old son Indra is also very happy.
But in between all these Varun's step brother Kuraav is not happy, he thinks that he should have been chosen as the head of the city but representative committee's member chose his step brother Varun instead of him. And in this decision their childhood friend the wise Manthar was the main influence as Manthar is not only considered as intelligent man, but is also the most uncritical and well-wisher of Mohenjodaro. He is the head priest also of Mohenjodaro.
This is the reason why Kuraav with his brother Varun does not like Manthar also. But today he is going to settle all his cores. And he sends some secret message through his giant eagle.
That giant eagle reaches in Aryan's camp where there Demagogue Mitra reads the message tied in the feet of the Eagle i.e 'people of Mohenjodaro are busy in celebration, this is the best time to attack on Mohenjodaro'. Mitra gives a wicked smile after reading the message and he moves towards Mohenjodaro to attack on them.
Echoes of 'Jai Shakti' & 'Jai Sindhu', Har Har Mhadev can be heard everywhere, both Aryan's and people of Mohenjodaro fight vigorously, firstly due to festival mood people of Mohenjodaro start lacking behind, but soon Varun gathers them and attacks with full force on Aryan's. Aryan's get defeated and their demagogue Mitra gets captured. Manthar's 8 year old daughter Sugandha and Varun's 10 year old son Indra also take part in this war.
Now Mitra is about to get executed for attacking on Mohenjodaro but Varun's son Indra asks to spare him as today is festival and today Varun is giving everyone something then how can he take someone's life. Varun could not kill Mitra and spares his life. Mitra becomes obliged towards Varun and Indra and does friendship with Varun. Varun also asks Mitra to stay in Mohenjodaro till the festival.
But Kuraav does not like all this, and before Mitra could reveal Kuraav's intentions to Varun, Kuraav kills Varun by spoof and puts the blame on Mitra. Mitra understands that he is being framed, but instead of proving anything he understands that at this time he has to save his life and he runs away from Mohenjodaro.
In the meanwhile after hearing the news of her husband's demise Mahamaaya also dies out of shock. Indra's Nanny understands the complete situation and also Kuraav's intention therefore she runs away from Mohenjodaro with Indra.
Till the time the main priest of Mohenjodaro Manthar could understand the situation and handles everything, Indra's Nanny has left Mohenjodaro with Indra. People of Mohenjodaro consider Indra also as dead and Kuraav is chosen as the new head of Mohenjodaro.
Before this requirement of army was not much in Mohenjodaro, people of Mohenjodaro were not greedy and deceiving'but from here onwards begins the new chapter of Mohenjodaro which is full of politics and deceiving.
On the other hand Indra's nanny Dhari who was an Aryan before marriage starts living in Hadappa again, Indra has also lost his memories and Dhari has told him that she is only his mother and that his name is Shivam not Indra, Indra also considers Dhari as his Mother.
Dhari was a potter before marriage and she again starts pottering, she teaches Indra/Shivam also pottery and he also becomes an excellent potter.
On the other hand after getting the power the real face of Kuraav came in front, he declares his son Akshat as the next king against the rituals. Whereas according to the customs always the representative-committee chooses Mohenjodaro's head.
Also to strengthen his situation Kuraav fixes his son Akshat's marriage with Manthar's daughter Sugandha. Though Manthar is not happy with this fixation but he has no other option as his situation also in Mohenjodaro has weakened in these years and he feels that if Sugandha gets married to Akshat then her life would be secured.

Slowly Kuraav becomes friend with other state head's and important people. Because of Kuraav and his wickedness Sindhu civilization has become chaotic, corruption has reached to its extreme. But Baluch's Aryans demagogue Mitra is still angry with Kuraav and he wants to teach him a lesson.
On the other hand Indra/Shivam is also grown up now, he makes beautiful clay utensils and gets real appreciation from many people in his village market which is near Hadappa. People in his village love him a lot, he is very kind hearted and very powerful also. Indra/Shivam is very happy in his small village life but whenever he listens anything about Mohenjodaro he gets restless, he gets mesmerized with the name of Mohenjodaro. His friends keep telling him about Mohenjodaro's trade fair where anyone can go and sell his products and that his utensils will be really appreciated and he will gain good profit too, also he can participate in the yearly youth festival held in Mohenjodaro every year which is very enjoyable. Indra/Shivam really wants to go to Mohenjodaro but his mother Dhari does not permits him. Everytime he sits there disappointed watching all his friends leaving him and going.
Finally Indra/Shivam gets a chance to visit Mohenjodaro but on the way to Mohenjodaro he clashes with Aryan's king Mitra, there is a fight between them and Shivam fights very bravely. Mitra gets really impressed by Shivam and his bravery, he gifts Indra/ Shivam a horse and says that years ago he has seen such bravery and kindness in the head of Mohenjodaro, Varun and his son Indra. Shivam/ Indra gets jolt with these names. MItra also says that its been years but now also he wants to take revenge of his friends death.
Indra/Shivam when reaches Mohenjodaro, he finds everything very familier, he automatically walks towards his palace where he has spent his entire childhood, suddenly he sees Manthar's daughter and Akshat's fianc'e Sugandha there. He falls in love with her on the very first sight, he starts following her to the trade fare where youth festival is going on, Sugandha considers him as some mischievous guy and does give him any importance. They both have some blow nozzles also between them, but when Sugandha discovers that Indra/Shivam is actually an Aryan, she asks him to leave Mohenjodaro immediately because Aryans and Mohenjodarian's are sheer enemies and she does not want that festival mood gets spoilt because of Shivam. Indra/Shivam is unable to understand the as to why Mohenjodaro and Aryans are enemy to each other.
In the meanwhile Shivam/Indra discovers that Mohenjodaro's head Varun was killed by Aryan demagogue many years ago. But then he remembers the kind words said by Aryan Demagogue Mitra for Mohenjodaro's head Varun and how Mitra appreciated Varun & also wants to take revenge of his death. Indra/Shivam is confused and is thoughtful about all the incidence.
In between all this Sugandha is attacked by a tiger in forest, Indra/Shivam saves her life from the dangerous tiger. Sugandha becomes obliged towards him and also starts liking him, they start meeting in the forest hiding from everyone. Sugandha gets a new meaning of life after meeting Shivam, she is very happy and forgets that she is actually Akshat's fianc'e. Indra/Shivam sometimes makes beautiful clay utensils for Sugandha, takes her on horse riding with him. But one day Kurudh, Kuraav's flatterer finds out about all this and informs Kuraav about everything going on.
Kuraav is very angry and disturbed after listening all this, he calls Akshat and tells him everything and asks him that is he not man enough to handle his fianc'e, Akshat who already is a very short tempered & merciless person wants to kill Sugandha & Indra/Shivam for their deed. But cunning Kuraav asks him to handle everything smartly as Sugandha is Manthar's daughter who is head priest of Mohenjodaro who has immense public support and as they know Manthar does not like Kuraav and Akshat much, therefore making him furious in any way is not good for them.
Kuraav & Akshat plans to remove Indra/Shivam from their way, but Indra escapes somehow from Kuraav, but Kuraav learns that Shivam is nobody else but Varun's son Indra and now he is too tensed. Manthar also learns about all the situation and also about Indra /Shivam's true identity, he decides to call upon the Representative committee and tell them Kuraav's reality and to remove him from Mohenjodaro's head post, but before Manthar could reveal anything, Kuraav murder's him. Sugandha witnesses everything, but Kuraav captures Sugandha and prisons her.
On the other hand Indra recalls everything and now wants to take revenge of his father's murder, he writes letter to Mitra, Aryan's demagogue for help. But before he could do anything Kuraav & Akshat play another game, they convince the representative committee that Sugandha is a traitor as she is having affair with an Aryan, Mohenjodaro's biggest enemy and therefore she should be punished by tying heavy stone around her neck and throw her in Sindh river.
Indra gets distraught after listening this, his friends try to stop him, but he does not listen to anyone and directly goes into the court where Kuraav, Sumerian king, Persian king are going to punish Sugandha. Indra is very furious and fights with everyone who comes in between. Watching Indra in such terrible anger even Kuraav gets tensed and sends his entire army to kill Indra but then itself Mitra reaches there with his huge army. The fight between both the armies could destroy many life's therefore Indra says that because of Kuraav's ego he is not going to waste so many life's as Mohenjodaro is his family and Aryan's are his friends, therefore there should be a deciding fight between Akshat and Indra only. Kuraav agrees for it as he thinks that he will deceit Indra somehow and Akshat will get chance to kill Indra. But Kuraav does not succeed in his cunningness this time and Indra defeats Akshat in the one to one combat.
In the meanwhile Kuraav's real deed comes in light. Mohenjodaro people & representative committee comes to know that Kuraav has killed Varun & Manthar also and that this Aryan boy Shivam is none other than their beloved Head's son Indra. Kuraav gets baffled and he goes and opens the damn gets of Sindh river, he says that if he and his son cannot rule at Mohenjodaro, no one else can also rule, saying this he drowns in Sindh River. Walls of Mohenjodaro starts breaking because of Sindh River, Sugandha also starts drowning in the river but Akshat saves her by putting his own life in danger.
But Mohenjodaro is no safer to live in. Indra saves many lives, all of them treats him as god's angel and says that what are they going to do now as Sindhu civilization has ended. Then Indra says that civilization never ends, it is ongoing procedure, every civilization leaves marks for their future generations, but change is the law of nature, only change is truth nothing else. They all will leave together towards River Ganga and create a new civilization there, will write a new chapter with the civilization living near river Ganga.
