Karan Aujla bonds with Vicky Kaushal over Punjabi Food during 'Bad Newz' shoot; talks about overcoming struggles and pushing himself to create better music

Karan Aujla, the popular Punjabi singer known for his viral hit "Tauba Tauba," is gearing up for the India leg of his world tour titled 'It Was All A Dream'. The tour will kick off with a performance in Mumbai on December 21, and Aujla is excited to connect with his fans back home.
During an interview with Mid-day, Karan spoke about his rise to fame, stating that the success of "Tauba Tauba" was a turning point in his career. He describes the overwhelming response from fans as surreal, and which pushed him to grow as an artist and capture a wider audience.
Despite his current success, Karan believes that achieving fame requires a lot of effort. He spent years writing for other artists and honing his craft before gaining recognition.
Born in the village of Ghurala in Punjab, Karan's journey to stardom includes personal tragedy and relentless hard work. After losing his parents at a young age, he moved to Canada, where he faced numerous challenges while pursuing his passion for music. Moving to Canada meant starting from scratch, and he faced financial struggles and sleepless nights along the way. However, he persevered through the hardships, believing in his talent and vision.

Karan also shared insights about his friendship with Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal, whom he admires for his humility and positive energy. They bonded over their shared love for Indian tadka and Punjabi food during late-night shoots for the film 'Bad Newz'.
Music has always been Karan's passion, giving him a voice to express himself, shared the 'Winning speech' singer.
"I constantly push myself to grow and create better music because fans expect more with each release. It’s not just about getting to the top, but staying there for a long enough time whilst creating a safe space to mentor other talents," he said.
