Actress Palak Tiwari has shared a rather mixed response to India’s Operation Sindoor, expressing both pride and a yearning for peace. The actress shared her views on the retaliatory strike following the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 civilians. Amidst growing tensions, she shared her views to News18 Showsha saying that "It’s really unfortunate and deeply saddening that it had to come to this, because lives matter."She went on to state that she understands that such a call would not have been made, if not absolutely necessary, but also shared her plea for peace.While reiterating that war should never be the first answer, Palak added, “I'm happy India stood up and fought back. But more than anything, I hope for peace, that one day we won't need to retaliate at all.”
