As Friday, the 11th of March swiftly approaches us, many million fans and admirers of Challenging Star Darshan eagerly await the release of 'Roberrt'. A bonafide big-ticket release, 'Roberrt' has been in the making for almost three years with the core team having to endure many delays and inconveniences during the course. But, it would now seem that things couldn't have been planned-out better for the film's theatrical release and the 'Roberrt' mania is almost palpable at this point.
The film's promotions too are currently in full swing with the team visiting the heartland locations of Karnataka to spread cheer and a kind word among the fans.
Alongside, actor
Darshan too has found himself busy with interviews for multiple TV/online news entities wherein he can be seen discussing the film, his role, and a few other aspects quite in detail. During one such interview, Darshan was able to touch upon the specialty of 'Roberrt', especially with respect to his performance, and also shed light on how the film has managed to tap into the actor in him.
"You don't get to perform much in commercial cinema. I have acted in about 53 films to date and more or less, 35 of them are out-and-out mass entertainers. I don't think I have had the opportunity to perform much in these films - things are usually over the top with all the action and the dialogues. But 'Roberrt' would seem different in that regard - it would be evident that Darshan has performed in a mass film for the first time. You know, more of the likes of 'Namma Preethiya Ramu' and other films wherein I portray softer shades. I think the audience will get to see me in such shades in 'Roberrt'," said a very earnest Darshan while discussing the film and his role.
In the same breath, Darshan also highlighted that 'Roberrt' is a clean-cut, genuine entertainer which won't cause any discomfort to a family audience. Stating that the film transcends the age barrier, Darshan instilled a lot of confidence while promoting the film. Well, it is only a matter of time before the audiences get to watch their favorite superstar on the big screen and decide for themselves whether the film holds up to their expectations or not. However, with a huge ensemble cast including some top-notch performers like
Jagapathi Babu, P. Ravi Shankar, and Ravi Kishan, 'Roberrt' will be a tough offer to pass up. More updates to follow soon.
