Aravind Swami is one of the talented actors in Tamil cinema, and after taking a sabbatical from movies, the multi-talented actor has made a comeback a few years ago, and his negative role in Jayam Ravi's 'Thani Oruvan' got him accolades. Aravind Swami has an interesting line-up of films to follow, and he will be next seen in 'Rendagam'. In a recent media interaction, Aravind Swami was asked about the report of him doing a negative role in
Rajinikanth's upcoming film with Cibi Chakravarthy and the stylish actor didn't give any clarity on the question.
However, fans have assumed the actor's confirmation and they are excited to see Rajinikanth and Aravind Swami together after 31 years. Rajinikanth and Aravind Swami earlier shared screen space in the 1991 gangster drama 'Thalapathi', which was directed by
Mani Ratnam, and they played brothers in the film.
Cibi Chakravarthy, who entered the 100 crore club with his debut directorial 'Don' starring
Sivakarthikeyan, is set to direct Rajinikanth next, and it's going to be another box office blockbuster from the young director for sure. Cibi Chakravarthy is currently shaping up the film's script work, and the film's official announcement is expected to be made once he completes the initial work.
On the other hand, Rajinikanth is currently filming for 'Jailer' with
Nelson Dilipkumar, and the film's shooting is heading steadily.
