Shalini Ajith Kumar shares first post amidst reports of Ajith Kumar's hospitalisation due to leg injury

Reports regarding Ajith Kumar’s health and hospitalisation in Chennai are concerning fans and well-wishers, as they are seeking confirmation online. Amidst the growing reports about the actor being admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, his wife, former actress Shalini Ajith Kumar, has now shared her first post on social media.

Shalini, who accompanied Ajith to Delhi’s Rashtrapati Bhavan to receive the prestigious Padma Bhushan award on April 28, has been sharing pictures from the ceremony. She has now posted an adorable photo of their son, Aadvik, receiving a warm greeting from the President of India, Droupadi Murmu. The President was seen gently touching Aadvik's cheeks while leaving the hall after presenting the awards. Ajith’s daughter, Anoushka, was also seen standing beside him with a smile.

While sharing the picture, Shalini wrote, “A treasured moment ❤️.” Her post received mixed reactions from fans and social media users – some showered praise on the star kid, while others enquired about Ajith’s health. One fan wrote, “How's his condition right now...? 🙄✅” Another asked, “Thala ippom epdi irukkaru 😢 (How’s Thala doing now?).”

Ajith's hospitalisation
A report from India Today claimed that Ajith was admitted to hospital following a leg injury. It stated that the ‘minor leg injury’ occurred when he was mobbed by fans at the Chennai airport upon his return from New Delhi, after attending the Padma Bhushan awards ceremony. However, an official confirmation regarding the same is still awaited.
On the work front, Ajith Kumar was last seen in 'Good Bad Ugly', directed by Adhik Ravichandran. The film also featured Trisha Krishnan, Arjun Das, Sunil, Karthikeya Dev, Priya Prakash Varrier, Prabhu, Prasanna, Tinnu Anand, and Raghu Ram in key roles. Ajith and Trisha recently teamed up for the action flick 'Vidaamuyarchi' which didn't make much impact at the box office.
