A brand new biopic on the late actor Soundarya is on cards, according to reports. Reports are that a popular Tollywood filmmaker has already initiated talks with the family members of Soundarya and if all goes well, we will get to know the interesting and unknown facts about the actress.

Reports suggested that the makers are trying to get the right person who can do justice to the role to play her character. While fans are eager to know who would be playing Soundarya in the biopic, rumours are rife that talented heroine Sai Pallavi has been approached to play Soundarya in the film. The makers will announce the cast and crew once the official announcement is out. However, there’s no official announcement regarding Soundarya biopic.

Soundarya, known to be one of the most talented and glamorous actors in the film industry, had a cult following during the 1990s and 20s. The actress died in an aircraft crash near Bangalore on 17 April 2004. Born as Soundarya Sathyanarayana, Soundarya catapulted to fame for her role Bhavani in Ammoru released in 1995 earning her the Filmfare Award for Best Actress. She has acted in 100 films in her career and was seen in films made in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Some of her notable films include Rajendrudu Gajendrudu, Number One, Mayalodu, Hello Brother, Amma Donga, Ammoru and Peddarayudu, to name a few.
