'Devara Part 1' box office collection: Jr NTR starrer earns Rs 21 crore in 12 hours!

The Telugu action drama 'Devara Part 1' has been released in theatres today, September 27. Directed by Kortala Siva, the movie features Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor in lead roles and the rest of the cast has Prakash Raj, Shruti Marathe, Shine Tom Chacko, Kalaiarasan, Narain among others. The music for the film is composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
Following the release, the film has been getting mixed reviews from audiences and the movie's FDFS began at 1 am in Andhra Pradesh after the government granted special screening permission in theatres.Sacnilk now reported that the film on day 1, until 11 am has already grossed Rs 21.8 crore at the Indian box office.

The movie was expected to gross Rs 100 crore on day 1 of its release and looks like the film will reach its milestone earning on day 1. The film recorded a pre-sales of Rs 60 crore worldwide and it has also grossed $5Million in North America. Sacnilk earlier mentioned that the movie on day 1 will make Rs 40 crore at the box office in India and within just 12 hours after the release, the movie has already grossed Rs 21 crore; it looks like the film will reach its target of Rs 40 crore by the end of day 1.
