"I'm proud to be part of such a great film," says Play Back actress Ananya

Ananya Nagalla who made her impressive debut with Raj Rachakonda's Mallesham is excited about her upcoming film Play Back, the teaser of which was recently released. And this time, she will be seen in a starkly different avatar compared to her first outing in Mallesham. It seems whatever she touches turns into gold. The film revolves around the story of a 2019 guy who gets a call from a young girl from the year 1993.Things become curious when they start speaking over the phone.
"It is one of the challenging roles of my career. I'm playing the role of Sujatha, and I am proud to be a part of such a great film which has a unique subject. I wanted to make sure people don't see Ananya in the role but Sujatha. I am very excited and anxious about the film, especially after getting a good response to the teaser. The level of excitement has gone up in me and the team. So far, the response has been amazing and I am overwhelmed. I am waiting for the film's release," Ananya said.
When asked about how she has been approached for the role, she explains, "Hari Prasad Jakka garu made his presence felt at the premiere show of my film Mallesham. After watching the film, he texted me on Facebook. I've gone through his FB profile and decided that he belongs to film fraternity. I called him and went to his place to reject the offer politely as I wanted to do a romantic love entertainer next. But after listening to the script, I couldn't turn down the role which motivates me to perform better. From what I have gathered after meeting and talking to him several times, I was completely fascinated and wondered how he wrote such a gripping screenplay."
Play Back has been bankrolled by Prasadrao Peddineni under the banner Sri Venkateswara Art Creations. The star cast the in the film includes Dinesh Tej, Arjun Kalyan, Spandana, Ananya Nagalla, Karthikeya Krishna Malladi, Ashok Vardhan, TNR, Murthy, Chakrapani Ananda, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Tagubotu Ramesh, Gowtham Raju, Deepthi, Vishnu and Jenny.
With renowned technicians like K Bujji for cinematography and Bonthala Nageswara Reddy for editing, the music of Play Back will be composed by Kamran. Hari Prasad Jakka who worked as a story writer for Mahesh Babu starrer 1 Nenokkadine and as a screenplay writer for Sukumar directorial film 100 % Love, will be wielding the megaphone for this venture. He made his directorial debut with the 2017 film Darasakudu.

Ananya will also be seen in Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab to be directed by Venu Sriram. The actor is currently in the process of discussing several scripts with the filmmakers and hasn't given her nod yet.
